Ljubljana
A lively green city combining the charm of a small capital and the self-confidence of large European cities. The image of the town by a river with picturesque bridges and a marketplace was designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik. The town of a thousand events is surrounded by parks and natural protected areas. A tour of the tourist sites can be supplemented with walks on the Castle Hill, the banks of the Ljubljanica River or with a visit to the Tivoli Park.

Nova Gorica
Nova Gorica and the Vipava Valley are the intersection of two worlds and different cultures. The wine growing region inspires with its gastronomy, and the city offers entertainment with its casinos. Trg Evrope (meaning “Europe Square”) is a unique square as it is divided between two cities and two countries. On the joint square of Nova Gorica and Italian Gorizia, you can stand with one foot in Slovenia and the other one in Italy.

Izola
The small seaside town grew on a former island. Even today it reflects the close bond its people have with the sea. Izola beckons: walk along its charming streets or get in on some fun water activities on one of the beaches here. The Strunjan cliff is the right place to experience pristine nature, whereas the verdant cultivated hinterland is well known for its exquisite grapes and olives.

Ankaran
The Ankaran Peninsula along with its small town Ankaran is one of the most important touristic destinations of the Slovenian coast. It combines the tourist offer of the youngest municipality in Slovenia, which was founded due to the long-standing desire of its inhabitants to preserve its natural and landscape diversity (2011). This was achieved in 2018 with the proclamation of the Regional Park of Debeli Rtič.

Castle Socerb
At the brink of a Karst wall rising a few hundred meters tall there is a mighty Castle Socerb with a view of Koper and Trieste’s gulf and surrounding places all the way to Piran. The Strmec (Socerb) Castle is the only larger fort building at the Karst edge above the Slovenian coast, and charms every single visitor. The area of the Socerb Castle is registered as a monument of national importance.

Koper
This picturesque historical town with its own green surroundings is a bridge between the Karst and the Sub-Mediterranean world. Koper is a town of a hundred suns which adorn the medieval Venetian palaces. The sun warms up the lagoon of the Škocjanski Zatok Nature Reserve with hundreds of birds, the Karst Edge and world famous climbing areas. Istrian cuisine draws you to numerous events.
